About The Program

Two year (Four Semester) full time M.Sc. programme in Mathematics and Scientific Computing. The programme is oriented for jobs in Industry, Research and Teaching.

Eligibility
B.Sc. Degree with minimum 60% marks (or equivalent grade) with Mathematics as one of the main subject. Candidates appearing in the final year of B.Sc. degree may also apply.

Mode of Admission
On the basis of written test (objective/short answer type).

Syllabus for the test
Under Graduate level (Real Analysis, Complex Analysis, Abstract Algebra, Analytical Geometry (2-D and 3-D), Numerical Analysis, Vector Analysis, Calculus, Mechanics (Statics and Dynamics), Differential Equation).

PROCEDURE
Applicant may fill up down loaded form from the institute website and send the filled up form along with photo copy of documents and a demand draft of Rs. 500/- in favour of Director, MNNIT, Allahabad.
The list of eligible candidates for entrance examination shall be displayed in the institute website. List of candidates called for entrance examination and personal interview will be displayed on the Institute Website on June 20, 2010.

M.S mathematics and scientific computing is the new course in M.N.N.T. The department of Mathematics started full time M.Sc. in Mathematics & Scientific Computing program since 2008. This two year programme offers an exciting opportunity to students who are interested in Mathematics and who wish to pursue courses for industry, research and teaching.
